Unique Process
Zotefoams plc products are made by a unique high pressure nitrogen gas solution process. The superiority of these products, compared with polyethylene foams made by other technologies, stems directly from the use of this high pressure gas technology. This produces a pure, chemically inert foam without blowing agent residues and with a uniform cell structure with regular cell walls. The process comprises three main stages:		Nitrogen storage vessels
Extruder line (a)High quality extrusions and cross-linking of solid polymeric sheet.
(b)Impregnation of solid sheet with pure nitrogen gas at elevated temperature and extremely high pressure.		High pressure autoclave
Expanded sheets after removing from low pressure autoclave (c)Final expansion of the impregnated solid sheet. The separation of the process stages allows very accurate control of the individual parameters governing consistent production of high quality foams.
